The After-School Spanish Program at Homestake Peak Elementary School starts Monday, November 28th.

Homestake Peak School of Expeditionary Learning (k-5)

The 2011-12 After-School Spanish Program at Homestake Peak School of Expeditionary Learning will run on Mondays beginning September 12th from 3:50 to 5:30. The program is for is for English-speaking children from kindergarten through 5th grade and there is space for 20 children.

After School Sessions: (each session is 10 weeks long):

Session 1: Mondays, Sep 12, 19, 26, Oct 3, 10,17, 24, 31, Nov 7, 14
Session 2: Mondays, Nov 28, Dec 5, 12, Jan 9, 23, 30, Feb 6, 13, 27, Mar 5
Session 3: Mondays, Mar 12, 19, 26, Apr 2, 9, 23, 30 May 7, 14, 21

Cost:

$135 per 10-week session (10% discount to the total for each additional child)

Where:

Homestake Peak School of Expeditionary Learning (The school district does not provide transportation to the school)

When:

Mondays from 3:50 to 5:30 pm

Who:

K-5 elementary school students (limited spaces available)

In order to assure the success of the program we have a set of core rules that are clear and enforced: respect for teachers and classmates, active participation, and willingness to follow directions of games and activities are critical for the success of the program. We want to be fair with every learner and to make sure we promote a positive learning environment. If the participants don’t respect the core rules of the program and don’t show interest in learning, we will invite them to leave the program.
